Job Description Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly
pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years
of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position:
Nursing Support Assistant Resource Team Location: Elmhurst Hospital
Full Time: 36 hours/week Hours: Days: 6:30 am - 6:30 pm with
rotating weekends and holidays What you will need: Education,
Experience and/or Skills Required: High School Diploma or GED
Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi-task and
prioritize duties/tasks based on identified needs and guidelines
Excellent communication skills Ability to maintain composure under
stress and adapt to changing situations and requests Education,
Experience and/or Skills Preferred: A minimum of one year of
previous hospital experience Associates Degree What you will do:
Under general supervision and according to established policies and
procedures, provides support to inpatient units which may include
but not limited to the following: answering and directing incoming
calls, monitoring and ordering of supplies, submitting work orders,
greeting and assisting patients, families and visitors, ensuring
that necessary equipment (computers, phones, printers, copiers,
label printers, etc.) are functioning properly, assisting in
obtaining medical records, CDs and other information from other
institutions, and other clerical/support duties as directed by unit
leadership. Working with inpatient leaders and care coordination
team, may assist in discharge process by making follow-up
appointments for physician/clinic visits, preparing discharge
information to skilled nursing/rehabilitation facilities, and
