Child Welfare professionals! Essential Functions: File all
documents in AP5 format in files accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all files are kept current and properly stored to meet DCFS
and COA standards. Compile list by worker of files to be audited
giving copy to worker and supervisor. Prepare files for audits and
reviews. Provide assistance in preparing documents and files for
court and ACR reviews. Prepare closed files for transport to
storage (document contents, box files, and arrange for pick for
long term storage). Track files that have been sent to storage for
audits. Close Foster Care, Intact, Counseling and Adoption case
files. Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out
responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other
LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or
individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
required. One (1) to three (3) year’s experience preferred.
Background check clearance required. Demonstrated ability to
communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in
writing. Excellent organization, general office, and pc/computer
skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook,
Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
Capacity to understand and empathize with the cultural,
psychological, and practical needs of the clients that the agency
serves. Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with other and
willingness to accept additional responsibility.
