Join our innovative team at Constellation, a leading energy company devoted to providing advanced energy solutions across various sectors in the U.S. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Design Engineer to help optimize and expand our operations. This role involves the design and analysis of systems that support the safety, effectiveness, and sustainability of our energy provisions. Ideal candidates will have a robust background in I&C engineering within the energy sector. Develop and maintain detailed designs for I&C systems used in gas, oil, and electric energy production and management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate I&C designs with other engineering disciplines. Manage the implementation of design changes and new projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution of I&C related issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability. Prepare technical documentation, including system designs, test procedures, and commissioning documents. Oversee the execution of I&C projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring projects meet budget and time constraints. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological and engineering trends in the energy sector to recommend and apply innovations. Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and training to junior I&C engineers and other team members. Expert proficiency in I&C system design, including software such as AutoCAD and MATLAB. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proven leadership and project management experience. In-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to the energy industry. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or similar certification is advantageous.
