Job Description Job Description We are seeking an Field Service Industrial Machine Mechanic for Stamping Press equipment to become an integral part of our team! You will be trained to repair stamping presses in the field. Job will include travel around the US to repair equipment. All expenses paid. Responsibilities: - Responsible for putting together mechanical stamping presses adhering to a specified set of blueprints and schematics - Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms. - Discern quality of parts and materials used in assembly. - Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process. - Follow company procedures and directives - Test finished presses for defects - Maintain the necessary assembly tools - Internal training period will be required in our assembly and testing operations for product familiarization. Qualifications: - 2-3 years of direct service/mechanic experience servicing, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, operating, and maintaining industrial machinery equipment, preferably metal stamping presses - Proven track record assembling and testing machines - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Ability to interpret technical documentation - Good Communication Skills - Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate assembly tools - Excellent hand-eye coordination - Climbing ladders and working in platform lifts are required. - Applicant must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time. - Willing to travel 75% of the time.
