Product Manager Job Description Develop and maintain a three-year new product roadmap Develop new product specifications including features and functionality to create a competitive advantage Manage new product development projects and lead cross-functional teams to deliver and launch products from concept to completion into several channels Drive the product team to achieve and surpass company sales, profitability, and business goals and objectives Drive profitability, volume growth and market share, as well as best in class products Ensure product portfolio vision and roadmap align with business strategy, with emphasis on fast paced new product development and releases Own the brand, product, marketing, pricing and channel strategy across multiple product portfolios; partner with cross-functional leaders to develop go-to-market strategies Product life cycle and portfolio management Defining product marketing communication objectives, and lead the creation of marketing collateral Oversee the design and manufacture and planning of how to market and promote the product to the public Forecast and manage inventory levels to maintain industry leading service levels with maximum cash flow Visit customers - virtually and in person when able to travel - to make sales calls and gather insight Marketing research including: o Sizing the markets and opportunities o Developing and maintaining competitive analysis o Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers Work with other members of the organization including marketing, engineering, customer service and sales teams Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication skills At least 2 years experience developing and marketing new products Superior project management and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative Team player who collaborates well with others Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they present or experience Experience in other areas of management including problem-solving, decision making, time management and leadership Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Competitive base salary Bonus program and Profit sharing 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor's in Engineering, Industrial Design or Business (Preferred) MBA a plus!
