Founded in 2000, they've grown their business to operate in 32 states and are currently doing $300M in revenue year over year.Their Engineering team is looking for a Technical Manager help build the tools that allow us to deliver our products to more people and drive their growth. As a Technical Manager, you will be in the weeds coding and building out the platform while reporting into the VP of Engineering and overseeing 2 direct reports. This role will be Front-End for the first year and candidates proficient in Angular are preferred. Following year one, this role will move into a full stack capacity operating in SalesForce on the back-end.You'll be responsible for a brand new B2B web portal that operates on Angular, Mulesoft, and Salesforce. The portal will be self-testing with zero-downtime deployment. The ideal candidate must be passionate about building products from the very early stages and will have ideally been a key contributor on a team that has built out an enterprise portal.This is a hybrid role, with commute to the office expected 2x per month.Description

• Develop solutions using Angular
• You will contribute to development, design and test automation best practices and procedures.
• This is Full-stack development position. Including data modeling/database, middleware, frontend UI, web-services, and deployment.
• Build next-generation web portals that are fast and responsive.
• Develop solutions in Salesforce technology
• Collaborate with onshore & offshore developers , Database developers to deliver integrated solution.
• Contribute to important team culture and contribute code to efforts across a fast-growing company
• Support, maintain and upgrade code and participate in implementation of a complex system
• Evaluate and recommend software technologies in these areas, evaluate alternatives and analyze problems with data infrastructures
• Oversee and develop 2 direct reportsProfile
  • 5-7 years of Angular experience
  • Relevant experience in React or Vue will be considered
  • Experience working on a team that has built out enterprise portals
  • 4+ years of back-end developments in an object oriented language (C#/Java)
  • A self-motivated individual who works well with little direction
  • Cloud hosting, monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization experience is preferred
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Love making and building things as part of a growing team
  • Experience mentoring more junior developers
  • Salesforce experience is a plus but not required
  • Mulesoft experience is a plus but not required
  • This is a hybrid role; candidates are expected to be able to reliably to commute to office in Chicago suburbs 2x per monthJob Offer
