Mount Sinai Services of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai--Elmhurst and Queens Programs The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, has an exciting opportunity for a full time Hospitalist-Nocturnist to join as faculty on or about June of this year. Responsibilities include direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of residents and mid-level Providers. The position is a hybrid with approximately 16 weeks of night coverage, 14 shifts per 4-week period with flexibility in scheduling. Day coverage will include a mix of coverage for the teaching, non-teaching and medical consult service-in proportions to optimize the skill-set of the physician. Day hours will be more traditional Monday-Friday with some weekend coverage. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island. Candidates must have an MD degree and be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
