Edward-Elmhurst Medical Group Part-time, 24 hours/week.# Benefit
eligible. The Coumadin Clinic is open 5 days a week 8 am # 5 pm.#
One later evening may be required.#Currently, there are no Saturday
hours.# #Offices are closed on the 6 major holidays.
LOCATION:#Schiller St, Elmhurst This role is responsible for
providing exceptional nursing care and utilizing management skills
in the Anticoagulation Clinic while collaborating with the
clinicians and office staff to maintain safe clinic flow and prompt
responses to patient anticoagulation needs.## #May be cross trained
into Centralized Triage role.## Under the direction of the
Supervisor,#the Coumadin Clinic Nurse is responsible for providing
patients with Warfarin dosing using an approved protocol with the
assistance of a medical director if needed.# The job entails face
to face patient teaching with point of care testing, phone calls,
maintaining the in-basket message queue, processing medication
refills and handling faxes.# QUALIFICATIONS: Illinois RN license
required.##BSN degree preferred.# CPR certification required. Five
to seven years of RN experience preferred. # Advanced medical and
cardiology terminology. # Clinical assessment, planning,
intervention, and evaluation. Experience with Epic or other
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) strongly preferred. Experience with
Microsoft Office products such as Word # Excel. Must be
self-directed, have excellent time management and reliability.
