GENERAL SUMMARY: # Responsible for directing unit activities and personnel on assigned shift in order to ensure high quality patient care, teamwork, and coordination of care.# Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, approves overtime and monitors compliance for regulatory requirements.# Serves as resource person for unit personnel in resolving operation and patient care problems, acts as physician liaison, and role model for staff in the Elmhurst#Emergency Department.# Hours:# Evening and Night hours Required Education and/or Experience: Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing# # Preferred Education and/or Experience: Previous charge nurse experience # Required License and/or Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency Services # Preferred License and/or Certification: Certification in specialty

Required Education and/or Experience:

* Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

* Previous charge nurse experience
* Required License and/or Certification:
* Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
* Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
* Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency Services

* Certification in specialty
