MRI Tech Location: New Lenox, IL Agency: Acruex Health Pay:
$2,400 to $2,560 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8
hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the
Position Pay Rate: $60.00 - $64.00/Hourly. Summary: We are
searching for a skilled and dependable MRI technologist to join our
medical team. The MRI technologist will be responsible for
operating MRI equipment and creating scans as per the physicians'
directions, screening patients and explaining procedures to them,
and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment. Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for
inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients of all
ages. Performs assigned supervisory functions. Maintains the
standards of ARRT. Demonstrates courteous behavior through polite
and respectful communication to all customers and adheres to the 7
customer service behaviors Verifies physician orders for
instructions from requesting physician and consults with the
radiologists as necessary. Preps patient for exam. Explains
procedure and provides education and instruction to patient as
appropriate. Adheres to MRI safety standards Performs all magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) studies and administration of contrast
media utilizing age related technical and positioning protocols and
safety procedures according to department policy and procedure.
Assists radiologist with MR procedures as requested. Requirements
Requirements: 1 year of recent GE MRI experience Required. BLS
Certification Required. ARRT Certification Required. Benefits
