Job Description Job Description The HR Onboarding &
Credentialing Coordinator supports the clinic's Human Resources and
Provider Enrollment teams by ensuring all healthcare providers
maintain accurate, compliant, and up to date credentials. This role
is critical for maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring
provider readiness, and supporting smooth clinic operations. Ideal
for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in
healthcare credentialing. Key Responsibilities Provider
Credentialing & Enrollment Manage the full credentialing lifecycle
for physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Prepare, collect, review, and submit all required documentation for
insurance plan enrollment and revalidation. Maintain working
knowledge of payer requirements (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial
plans). Track application statuses, follow up on outstanding items,
and ensure timely approvals. Monitor and update credentials,
certifications, licenses, and CAQH profiles. Ensure timely renewals
to avoid lapses impacting clinic operations. Compliance & Quality
Assurance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry
accreditation standards (NCQA, TJC, CMS). Conduct audits of
provider files to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
Maintain secure, organized credentialing records in HRIS or
credentialing software. HR & Administrative Support Assist with
onboarding processes for clinical providers, including background
checks, employment documentation, and orientation scheduling.
Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Clinic Leadership to support
workforce readiness. Support HR team with administrative duties
including file maintenance, document tracking, and reporting.
Communication & Coordination Act as the main point of contact for
providers regarding credentialing requirements and timelines.
Communicate professionally with payers, state boards, credentialing
agencies, and internal departments. Provide regular status updates
and reports to leadership. Qualifications Required 1-3 years of
credentialing experience in a healthcare, clinic, or ambulatory
setting. Strong knowledge of credentialing standards, CAQH, NPI,
Medicare/Medicaid enrollment processes. High attention to detail
and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong
organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple providers
and timelines. Proficient in HRIS, credentialing platforms, and
Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred CPCS or CPMSM certification (or
willingness to obtain). Experience with provider onboarding in a
clinic or multi-specialty practice. Familiarity with EMR/EHR
systems. Pay: $25 - $29 /hr Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
