EEG Tech Location: Milwaukee, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,280 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Neurodiagnostic Tech II Profession: Neurodiagnostic Technician Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd B Week 7/70 10p-830a rotation Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of proven experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician preferred License: - Certifications: - Must-Have: Proven ability to perform Electroencephalography Description: Under limited supervision, prepares patients for a combination of routine Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG), long-term and intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, autonomic testing, and diagnostic studies. Performs duties including charge capture and scheduling patients. Accurately measures and applies electrodes according to the International 10-20 System. Ensures that electrode impedances meet laboratory standards. Documents comprehensive patient history and appropriate information from patients and families. Explains test procedures to patients and family members present. Recognizes medical contraindications of activation procedures. Performs neurodiagnostic procedures according to laboratory standards. Prepares testing supplies, exam room, and neurodiagnostic equipment as needed. Implements alternative methods or adjusts controls to obtain optimal recording. Follows collaborative communication standards for maintaining quality EEG recordings. Observes and begins training for EMG, EVP, Autonomics, Intraoperative monitoring, WADA, and PET. Triages software error messages, equipment malfunctions, and technical issues. Assists Tech I and enters documentation and charges correctly and timely. Assists with scheduling and checking in patients. Reviews and clips files according to laboratory standards. Additional duties as assigned. May be required to float to other sites for department operations. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
