Job Description Psychiatry - Child/Adolescent Tele-psych
Physician must live in Illinois Large community health organization
in Chicago is expanding their mental health services and looking to
hire two C/A Tele-Psychiatrists This is a 100% remote position
Full-time position: 8:30-5:00 with one late evening until 7pm
(later start time) Part-time is also available for 16-20hrs/week
The clinics are staffed with Internal Medicine, Family Practice,
Pediatrics, OB/Gyn, Mental Health providers, Nurse Practitioners,
PAs and a fully staffed clinical support team. They have been
providing healthcare services for over 50 years. * The scope of
practice includes evidenced based clinical guidelines and provide
continuous, comprehensive psychiatric treatment. Provider will
review and/or gather patient histories to assess current
environment and/or history of behavioral health conditions with the
patient or with the patient's family. * Doctor will ensure that all
patients have received the PHQ-2 and if needed the PHQ-9 to screen
for depression and monitor progress over time for patients the have
been identified as having a moderate to high-risk scoring. *
Prepare all medical records, clinical reports and correspondence
*Work in collaboration with scheduling, clinical staff, health
management team and other providers to ensure that there is patient
access and that productivity goals of 2.7 or higher are met
daily/weekly. * Make diagnosis and prescribe medication as
necessary or make referrals to other forms of behavior health
treatment including full or partial hospitalization * Reasonable pt
volume Patients come into the clinic for an appointment so very
limited "no shows". You would be part of the behavior health team
with an excellent support group. Excellent Behavior Health team of
support and comprehensive on boarding. Salary: $280k plus benefits
