Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a seasoned NICU Registered Nurse with expertise in Level III
Neonatal Intensive Care to support high-acuity newborns in a
12-hour night shift role. This contract position demands clinical
skill and compassion for infants ranging from 24 weeks gestation
and upward, including micro preemies (44 weeks corrected) who
require respiratory support or surgical care. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a
Level III NICU setting Monitor and support infants with complex
medical needs including respiratory assistance and post-surgical
recovery Utilize Epic electronic charting system efficiently for
accurate documentation Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary
teams to optimize patient outcomes Adapt to unit demands which may
include occasional floating to a nearby campus as needed
Qualifications and Experience: Active Illinois RN license required
Minimum 2 years NICU nursing experience in a Level III High Acuity
setting Proficient in care of preterm infants (24 weeks gestation
and up), including high-acuity newborns and those with feeding
challenges Certifications: CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation Program
(NRP) Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred Location:

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.59 to $50.00.
