Job Description Job Description Maintenance Warehouse Technician (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Romeoville, IL Pay: $27/hr — Weekly Pay Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM A leading consumer goods company known for its baking tools, decorating supplies, and creative kitchen products is seeking a Maintenance Warehouse Technician for its Romeoville distribution center. This facility supports nationwide product distribution and relies on wellmaintained equipment and systems to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on warehouse materialhandling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain conveyor systems Complete preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs with general supervision Perform general facility maintenance throughout the warehouse (lighting, minor repairs, basic building upkeep) Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Ensure equipment and work areas remain safe and operational Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace Qualifications Mechanical maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment Exposure to MHE (materialhandling equipment) Experience working with conveyor systems Comfortable performing general maintenance tasks throughout the warehouse Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills Reliable, safetyfocused, and able to work Monday–Friday What You Get Temptohire opportunity Weekly pay Stable 1stshift schedule Work in a clean, organized distribution environment Apply Today Don’t miss out on this opportunity — apply today and start your path toward a permanent position!
