Job Description Job Description Position: Receiver Warehouse/Dispatcher Company: Furniture and Appliance Moving company Location: Bolingbrook, IL Pay Rate: $19 an hour Shift Schedule: Shift 12-8:30pm may have work as late as 10 pm so mut be flexible. The company works 6 days a week, the EE will definitely get Sunday off and one other day during the week. Job Summary: Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for dispatching and resolving problems for our company drivers, contracted drivers, and/or carriers. This position requires you to have exceptional proactive communication skills with internal and external customers, including promptly resolving issues with pickup and delivery, monitoring check call completion, activity documentation, and overall promoting a professional workplace attitude in a fast-paced environment. Position Duties: - Receiving of incoming product: example if they have 3 washers they are receiving in, this person must have this match end of day report - Shipping product's out.- Ensuring end of day report matches what the driver brings and leaves with. - Checking in drivers. - Manage company equipment to improve operation efficiency and profitability through coordinating with fleet maintenance teams and previously assigned drivers to ensure vehicle readiness. - Communicate with internal and external drivers via phone calls and system messages. - Maintain documentation of driver detention time to ensure accurate, on-time pay. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED with up to 1 year of Transportation, Customer Service, or other relevant experience - AND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences - Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums - Ability to meet or exceed driver needs to provide excellent service - Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner - Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives Preferred Qualifications: - 1-2 years of transportation, customer service, or other relevant experience ZROBT
