As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will handle and transport goods while ensuring safety, timely delivery, and adherence to regulations. ATS offers a dynamic, solution-focused work environment, where excellence in flatbed, specialized, heavy haul, and van transportation are not just delivered but celebrated. Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations, ensuring all loads are properly secured. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety. Comply with all DOT regulations and maintain a clean driving record. Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately to the dispatcher. Plan routes efficiently and manage schedules for timely deliveries. Strong driving skills with the ability to maneuver and park large vehicles. Effective communication and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems. Capability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Good physical condition to manage manual loading and unloading of cargo when necessary.
