Job Description:
General Summary: Manages all aspects of medication safety.#
Coordinates the reporting of adverse drug reactions and medication
error reporting. Collaborates with health care providers with
medication-related responsibilities (e.g., physicians, nurses,
pharmacists, quality management, risk management) to measure and
improve the safety of the organization#s medication system.# Trains
and develops staff in the area of medication safety. Location:
Elmhurst campus Hours: Part time, days. Required: Current Illinois
Registered Pharmacist License Current CPR Certification issued by
either American Heart Association or Red Cross within six weeks of
hire into position. Preferred: Pharm D. from an ACPE accredited
School of Pharmacy Minimum five years of medication safety
