Role Summary:

As a member of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team, you will use your creativity and experience to explore solutions to a variety of engineering problems. You will work in a manufacturing and product-oriented development environment and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Participate in the design and development of new products and product enhancements.
  • Design, build and implement novel machines and manufacturing methods to meet business and product requirements in the safest and most efficient way possible.
  • Lead high-impact, data-driven, customer-centric, continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, throughput, cost, ROI, availability, and scalability of all business processes.
  • Practice effective, pragmatic, and creative problem-solving. Implement robust corrective action designs based on rigorous root cause analysis to improve product deliverables and process outcomes.
  • Lead supplier development and supply chain improvement projects including the exploration and validation of alternative, cutting-edge materials, and sourcesImplement lean methodologies including set up reduction, single-piece flow, poka-yoke, kaizen, and 5S.
  • Help identify opportunities and actively contribute to initiatives around mitigating sources of business continuity risk including people, knowledge, supply chain, equipment, compliance, quality, data, security, and environmental.
  • Help ensure flawless order execution by providing technical support to the production plan and troubleshooting, problem-solving, and dispositioning material and process non-conformances in a timely fashion.
  • Help shape the future of our Engineering and Quality management systems including PLM and ISO9001.

The ideal candidate:

  • Believes that a zero-incident work environment is possible, will adhere strictly to safe work practices and policies, will look out for the safety of their colleagues, and will join us in our relentless pursuit to mitigate risk. (required)
  • Has a B.S. in Engineering (required) with 3-5 years of relevant experienceIs highly organized with effective project management skills and driven to meet commitments and deadlines (required)
  • Has strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and Excel (required)
  • Must feel right at home on a shop floor and be willing and able to work alongside cell leaders and line workers to develop productive relationships, exert influence, make critical observations, ensure compliance, capture the hidden factory, and be the change that the business needs. (required)
  • Is familiar with Lean tools and methodologies (preferred)
  • Has the ability to communicate fluently in Polish (highly preferred)
