Title: Express Assessment/Rapid Repair Shop Foreman Department: Service Position Summary: The Rapid Repair Shop Foreman optimizes and directs service work on commercial trucks and equipment for the dealership service department. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Organizes and dispatches repair orders to assigned technician team for the Express Assessment and Rapid Repair process. Implements strategies that optimize workflow and operational efficiency to meet desired throughput goals. Communicates repair plans to Shop Service Advisor/Service Advisor Team throughout shift. Collaborates with night shift Foreman, Shop Leadmen and Shop Service Advisor on status and repair schedule. Collaborates with main shop Foreman on repairs that require advanced diagnostics. Manages repair comeback logs to ensure quality of work standards are met. Collaborates with warranty administration team to ensure technicians are following warranty best practices that will ensure optimized recovery goals. Accounts for all repair order documents and information; ensures that none are missing at completion of repair. Collaborates with parts procurement team to ensure parts for Rapid Repair team have been ordered utilizing the most efficient methods Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Customer service focused. Ability to be flexible in a fast paced environment. Embraces change. Able to train and develop others. Superior organizational skills. Education and/or required experience: High School Diploma. 1-3 years experience in automotive or service industry. Customer service experience.
