Job Description Responsibilities: Working with the Principal Architects, develop and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents. Coordinate preparation of drawings with consulting engineers. Client meetings. Site visits. Creative input throughout each phase of the project. Work on multiple projects with diligence and efficiency. Required Skills: 3 to 5 years working experience in preparing construction documents for both residential and commercial projects. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Knowledge of building systems and technologies. Highly organized, detail driven and conscientious. Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and approval process. License in Architecture preferred but not required. Company Description The Architect/Technician will be working in a shared studio environment on the projects of both West Studio, LTD and Architect's Studio, LLC. These are two independent firms under one roof. West Studio, LTD has been in business since 1986 and Architect's Studio, LLC since 1988. Both firms offer complete architectural, interior and design/build services. West Studio, LTD specializes in highly detailed Frank Lloyd Wright inspired Modern Prairie and Modern Usonian residences. Architect's Studio, LLC focus is broad based including multi-story office buildings, storage facilities, theater buildings, multi-family and single family residences.
